The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, MURA, have dropped its first song today (September 25). The soundtrack titled, Aduthottadukkanda, or MURA title song, is sung by Rykho. Suraj Venjaramoodu and the other main actors are shown in the music video swinging to the lively song while sporting incredibly stylish attire. Christy Joby composed both the movie's original soundtrack and score.

High anticipation for MURA

On October 18, the action drama will be released on the big screen. The sneak peek for the movie gained popularity on social media after its release last month, and many moviegoers expressed how excited they were to see it in theatres. The young ensemble of the movie inevitably sets expectations for a unique storytelling and acting style, especially in light of recent Malayalam successes like Manjummel Boys and Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys. Muhammad Musthafa, who made his directorial debut with Kappela, which garnered accolades from critics for both its performers and storyline, is the director of this movie.

MURA: All you need to know

In the teaser, Suraj's character tells someone that there is money at a specific location, but they would have to break in surreptitiously to grab it because it is black money. The teaser then switches to Hridhu and his companions, a gang of local youths assisting Suraj's squad in obtaining the money while avoiding detection by the police. Thiruvananthapuram is the story's setting, and the teaser makes it apparent that Suraj is playing a somewhat dubious character.

Further important roles in the film are played by Hridhu Haroon, Maala Parvathi, Kani Kusruti, Kannan Nayar, Jobin Das, Anujith Kannan, Yedhu Krishna, P L Thenappan, Vigneshwar Suresh, Krish Hassan, Siby Joseph, and Alfred Jose. This action drama will be Hridhu Haroon's Malayalam debut. His previous picture, All We Imagine as Light, won the Cannes Grand Prix. The script was written by Suresh Babu. Riya Shibu is the producer of the movie.
